Ann L. Teasley Interiors & Convention Florist was started in 1974 by Ann L. Teasley. Ann began her business as an interior designer, but quickly expanded it to include wholesaling tropical and blooming plants to retail flower shops. Ann quickly saw that adding plants or floral arrangements to any space was the finishing touch that set her work apart from others. This same belief also applies when planning a tradeshow or any special event. Plants and cut flower arrangements are the finishing touch that make any event more special. As Ann L. Teasley's wholesale customers began to rent plants from her for weddings and other special events, she saw the need to expand her business again to include short-term plant rentals for special events, tradeshows & conventions. In 1988, son in law Petey Richards joined Ann in the business and helped her to expand the plant rental business even further. After almost 20 years working for Ann and her husband Frank Teasley, Petey & his wife Leigh purchased the company in January 2007 from her parents. |
